Hello, I am Bruno De Bonis, a highly experienced and successful international, senior automotive manager,  and I had this website created as a simple way for me to network and allow people to find out a little bit more about me. I have been involved in the motor industry for over 40 years, starting at the very grass-roots of the business as an apprentice in a dealership in Surrey, England. Over the years I was fortunate enough to move into new areas of the industry and augment my technical skills with both sales and marketing experience. This was achieved through roles in various high-profile, brand leading companies in the area of both prestige cars (both sports and 4x4) and also more mass-market brands.

I have also been fortunate to see the industry in different markets from Western and Eastern Europe to the Middle East and Asia and have enjoyed the challenges of launching and growing motor brands and developing dealer networks in what were in some cases "fledgling" markets.

I therefore have a somewhat unique view of the the motor industry. It is a vast sector with constantly moving challenges. Over the years the "product" has become more complex, yet marketing has evolved from a power and comfort message to one that must now include safety, economy, ecology, capacity and gadgets. All the while manufacturers struggle with the nuances of local territory requirements and the local dealers struggle with the singular message provided by the manufacturers and how to integrate it into the psyche of the local population. All the while the financial cycles bring over-riding challenges and none more challenging than the most recent financial turmoils have caused.

In any event, these are just interesting sidenotes on a career that has spanned many decades, but I enjoy working within companies who enjoy facing the challenges head on and delivering results for them.
